Question: Has anybody seen a Dr Rose of King’s College Hospital, London? (Neurology dept.) I am asking because I saw my NHS specialist again recently. I told him I felt my hands were growing progressively weaker and it was a difficult balancing act doing what I wanted to do at home e.g. cleaning, cooking, carrying, etc, against having to keep my hands pain-free as possible for work. He referred me to this doctor (whilst also giving me another appointment to see himself).
I have had carpal tunnel test at neurology department, which proved negative, so I am wondering what other sort of test there could be. Isn’t there something new which reveals nerve damage if hands are exercised previous to the test, or did I imagine reading about it?
