Bone scan

Question: Have any of you had a bone scan?

Answer: Yes, perfectly normal. Was ordered by a rheumatologist as part of a raft of tests which included blood tests and Hand X-Rays. These are intended to eliminate other possible causes. All were perfectly normal in my case, as was the nerve conduction study ordered. Just been seen by the employer’s medical advisor who has stated its “cramps of the hand and forearm”.

I hope he’s right as it would be great to have a diagnosis after 5 years but I’m surprised no one else mentioned it at all, and I’m not convinced it fits all of my symptoms. Anyway, bone scan is a bit uncomfortable but nothing to worry about.
