There is a book called ‘Fibromyalgia and Chronic myofacial pain syndrome’ by Dr Devin Starlanyl and Mary Ellen Copeland ( who has also written a book called the ‘the relapse prevention workbook’ – for us read ‘flare prevention’-which I found very helpful) which is very comprehensive about these conditions and did discuss thryoid dysfunction. Some of the symptoms to check for are mind-boggling, at least to me. But it is a good book. I have also recently got another book called ‘ErgAerobics’ which has some good stretches.
