Neurontin for RSI nerve pain

Question: Has anyone taken Neurontin for RSI nerve pain? Is there any web sites/urls that discuss the use of Neurontin specifically for RSI nerve pain? (I know it is used for epilepsy.) If anyone has taken it, what dosage and frequency did you take? Did it help the nerve pain?

Answer:  I was prescribed Neurontin (gabapentin) last year by the Pain Consultant at my local Hospital. The dose is 300mg 3 times a day. It has made a big  difference in reducing the nerve pain that had started to affect not just my upper limbs but my legs too. Apparently the drug’s impact on nerve pain is a side effect, noticed when using the drugs to treat epileptics who reported less pain from other conditions. My consultant says he has found it very effective for RSI cases.
