Question on Warm-cold contrast baths

Question: I’ve been looking forward trying Warm-cold contrast baths at home in helping healing my tendonitis. Has anybody already tried? I’ve tried once and it worked perfectly, however I’m a little afraid cause people says contrast paralyses the nerve and can make things worse. Is that right or fantasy?

Answer: Fantasy I think, have never heard of such ‘paralysis’. Persistent cold would be bad, but alternating hot and cold just helps circulation. Presumably it is a good idea to finish with warm so your arm does not stay cold, but I have not tried this myself.
