I’ve only had RSI for a few months. It’s in my shoulders and neck. I got it working on a factory assembly line. Finding I’m having trouble sleeping and difficulty in work. Would appreciate any help from anyone with the same problem areas.

Comment 1:  Also work on an assembly line and know the problems it can cause from doing repetitive work. I had tendonitis in my elbow and right shoulder for years. The plant doctor gave me a support strap to wear but this never really stopped the pain. About a year ago I was in a health food store and bought a product called MSM (methyl-sulfonyl-methane). I had read an article on it in the Toronto Star news paper .The researcher who had studied it said that this helped to heal and strengthen tendons and also protect from overuse.

Comment 2: So, did it help?

Comment 3: Yes, it did extremely well. I have not worn my support strap since. It took about 2½ weeks. My arm and shoulder would have a steady dull ache even after a week’s vacation from work! This stuff is just like magic. The product labels have a dosage listing on them but some people I have spoken with started with double the dose until their pain was gone then taper down until they reach a maintenance dose. I spoke with my orthopedic doctor about it to which he said he had never heard of it. Personally I think doctors don’t want anyone to become healthy because it takes money out of their pockets.
