I am looking for a split keyboard which puts the letter “b” on the right hand

Question: I am looking for a split keyboard which puts the letter “b” on the right hand. Does anyone know if one exists? I learned to touch type by the Pitman method, which clearly differs from the U.S. method of touch typing with respect to the “b” key. I find it very confusing using a standard split keyboard, as my right index finger keeps reaching out for a “b” key which isn’t there.

Answer: My husband bought me one of those M/S keyboards for home use and we both spent ages hitting the plastic looking for the ‘B’ on the right hand side however many a sore finger later we have got used to it and now use the left hand for the ‘B’.

  1. So as my friend commented there there is no any kind of split keyboard that is already known yet which made with the key b at the right? and if not why they are designed to favour those only who using traditional methods of typing?
    is too ambrassing to me………….

  2. With my CTS problem I’ve also been looking for a split keyboard with the B on the right side. I really don’t think it’s going to be easy for people like myself to switch after touch-typing for many years (44 in my case) using the Pitmans method! Why haven’t manufacturers thought about this?
